Keisha Nyirenda Chamba
FOUNDER AND CEO

Keisha Nyirenda Chamba conceptualized the idea of high-tech food processing in 2013 to curb the high food wastage her country Malawi faces for seasonal foods. She is a food technologist with nutrition background and brings along innovative high tech agro processing methods acquired through her MSc Degree in Nutrition and Food Science obtained from the University of Hudderfield, UK in 2012. Prior to her MSc studies, she obtained her BSc Degree in Agriculture (Nutrition and Food Science) from University of Malawi-Bunda College of Agriculture.

She brings along experience in developmental work including working in emergencies and volunteering. She is very passionate about bringing a change in people’s lives and the quality of processed foods to influence people’s healthy lifestyles throughout the lifecycle.

Mphatso Mbeza
Shanever Chamba
CO-FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Shanever Chamba is the Co-Founder and Director of Mighty Processor Limited. Having worked around the globe in Public Service and for Bilateral Agencies, Shanever has an in-depth understanding of Project Cycle Management for both humanitarian and development programmes and projects in both Low and Medium Income Countries (LMICs); and High Income Countries (HICs) settings.

Shanever is passionate about initiating and developing pragmatic solutions to development; and global health related challenges through sustainable and equitable services leading to health wellbeing of people. Shanever holds the MSc Degree in Global Health from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. He also holds BSc Degree in Agriculture (Family Science) from University of Malawi-Bunda College of Agriculture.

Waza Maria Dzoole
BOARD CHAIRPERSON

Waza Dzoole is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in administration and program support, known for designing systems that enhance efficiency and ensure quick turnaround times. Holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management from the University of Derby and a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Management from the University of York, UK.

Waza owns a butchery business in Lilongwe and Likoma Island, actively contributing to the agro-industry by processing meat and providing protein-rich products to consumers. Also operates the only commercial ice plant on Likoma Island, supporting fish vendors in delivering fresh fish to the island, surrounding areas, and beyond.

Mphatso Robert Mbeza
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

Mphatso Mbeza is an accomplished Finance Management Expert with over 17 years of experience in the financial sector. Specializing in budget formulation, fiscal policy analysis, developing policies and guidelines, financial reporting, Finance Management capacity building, Business Development and Project Management. Mphatso has a proven track record of improving financial governance, enhancing public sector efficiency and development of financial policies for Small and Medium Enterprises. Holding various roles in his career as an Auditor, Financial Analyst, Director of Finance and Administration, Public Financial Management Specialist, Financial Management Specialist, Financial Management Coach, Public Financial Management Expert among others Mphatso has gained skills in financial accounting and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, treasury management, financial planning and analysis, risk management, auditing and taxation. Throughout his career, Mphatso has successfully led and or held senior management positions in multiple high-profile projects funded by development partners and has extensive experience working with the private sector, Malawi Government Institutions and Development partners.

Mphatso holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from the University of Malawi, the Polytechnic. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi since June 2011. His expertise in PFM, fiscal sustainability and strategic financial planning has been instrumental in advising government and international organizations/ development partners such as Millennium Challenge Corporation, USAID, African Development Bank, UNICEF, UNDP, Global Fund, the European Union among others on effective resource allocation, mobilization and expenditure management in relation to PFM in Malawi. Passionate about transparency and accountability in public finance, Mphatso is committed to fostering sustainable economic development through sound financial practices. Outside of work, he enjoys mentoring young professionals and participating in community service projects aimed at improving financial literacy and fundraising for various charities.
